Description for Gite

Marlyse Dumoulin and Jean-Paul warmly invite you to experience the enchanting town of Bergheim in Alsace. Nestled in a beautifully renovated old house, our cottage and studio rentals offer a private and independent stay, separate from our neighboring property.

Bergheim, a picturesque medieval town with 1,800 residents, is situated in Central Alsace. It is renowned for its vibrant floral displays, having been awarded 4 flowers by a prestigious "National Jury". The town's half-timbered houses and fortified walls adorned with medieval towers make it a captivating destination for tourists. Moreover, the exceptional wines produced in our vineyards boast a powerful and long-lasting flavor profile.

Within our village, you will discover a range of recreational activities, including a bike path, soccer fields, tennis courts, a roller skating rink, mini golf, basketball, and a fishing pond. Additionally, hiking enthusiasts will be delighted by the various trails available. Services and shops are conveniently located in the village, such as a pharmacy, bakery, grocery store, press, library, tourism information point, as well as charming inns and restaurants.

Situated on the Wine Route, Bergheim offers a tranquil setting while being perfectly positioned midway between Strasbourg and Mulhouse (50km), and just a short distance from Colmar (15 miles). Surrounded by vineyards, it is also in close proximity to numerous picturesque villages and small towns, including Colmar (20km), Kaysersberg (15km), Riquewihr (7km), Sélestat (7km), Ribeauvillé (3km), and many more. Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of this region and experience the beauty of Alsace.
