Le Clou is a beautiful accommodation located in the idyllic village of Thiezac, only a short 20-minute drive from the popular Le Lioran ski station. Guests at Le Clou have the convenience of direct access to snowshoeing trails.

This charming mountain retreat offers 5 cozy rooms, as well as a romantic dining and living area featuring a large wood-burning fireplace. Additionally, we provide an independent gite and chalet, both fully equipped with their own kitchen, bathroom, and fireplace.

Perched at an elevation of 1098 meters, Le Clou boasts breathtaking mountain views. During the summer months, guests can unwind in the garden while taking in the stunning scenery. Even in the winter, on sunny days, the garden provides a peaceful spot to relax. And in the evening, indulge in a delightful dinner featuring the exquisite Cantal cheese.

Le Clou also offers a gite and a chalet, providing guests with additional accommodation options. These two holiday houses are conveniently located right next to the chambre d'hotes.

Magnifique cadre en pleine nature , randonnées à proximité ( nous sommes restés 5 jours sans prendre la voiture )

Nous avons passé un agréablement moment en famille. Le gite offre une très belle vue avec un paysage sous la neige magnifique! Le confort est là avec une location tres bien équipée.
Mention spéciale pour les nouveaux propriétaires aux petits soins pour nous.
Merci à Cyrille (et à Alain le voisin) pour leur gentillesse.

Rien de plus reposant que le cadre magnifique de cette maison d'hôtes où laccueil attentionné de Jan et Trijnie n'a d'égal que le paysage somptueux et la qualité de la table d'hôtes !
Endroit à découvrir et à recommander sans aucune hésitation ! Excellent rapport qualité/prix à noter car c'est rare...

There is a train station in Vic sur Cère, on the Aurillac-Saint Flour or Aurillac – Clermont Ferrand route.

For a small fee, you can take the train-taxi from Vic-sur-Cère to Le Clou.

From Clermont-Ferrand (Aulnat) or Aurillac Airport:

The buses from T2C at the airport (line 10) go to Clermont-Ferrand train station.

The schedules are available on the website www.t2c.fr.

There are direct trains several times a day from Clermont-Ferrand to Vic sur Cère (starting from €20.70 per person, duration: about 2 hours).

By car, take the Aurillac exit on the Clermont Ferrand - Montpellier highway. Coming from Murat (N122) (from the Clermont-Ferrand-Montpellier highway), take the Thiézac exit. Drive through the village and about 0.5 km after the village, turn right at the uphill cemetery (D59).

Coming from Aurillac (N122), take the Thiézac exit, after the village, near the cemetery, turn left (D59).

Follow the signs for Leclou-Trielle and after 5 km on a paved mountain road, you will arrive at our place. In winter, the road is regularly cleared, but it is necessary to equip your car with snow tires or chains.
