Located in the heart of Touraine, the town of Loches retains much of its medieval and Renaissance heritage, showcasing over 1000 years of history and architectural wonders such as the Keep, the Former Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame (now St Ours), the Royal Apartments, and the Chancellery. Since 2000, Loches has been recognized as part of the national network of Towns and Areas of Artistic and Historic Interest.

This charming town is a hidden gem within the picturesque region known as the "Frances garden," celebrated for its vineyards, gastronomy, vegetables, and cheese. Stretching across just 100 km, Touraine is home to some of the most illustrious Châteaux in the Loire Valley, including Chenonceau, Chambord, Amboise, Chinon, and Villandry.

Perfect for a romantic getaway or a family vacation, our recently renovated property offers a delightful apartment and a lovely studio that combine the comforts of home with the convenience of a breakfast service.

The apartment features an entrance hall with a comfortable sofa bed (160x200 cm), TNT television, and a DVD player. The salon dining room is furnished with a cozy sofa, a library, and a spacious dining table. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a fridge, induction stove (4 burners), oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a variety of cooking appliances such as a family pot, coffee machine, kettle, and toaster. The bedroom offers a double bed (160x200 cm) and a single bed (90x190 cm), while the bathroom features a separate bathtub and toilet.

The studio comprises a main room with a kitchen area equipped with a fridge, electric plates (2 burners), a multifunctional oven, steam cooking facilities, a coffee machine, moka pot, kettle, and toaster. The comfortable bed (160x200 cm), TNT television, and DVD player ensure a pleasant stay. The bathroom is equipped with a unique shower featuring a small protective wall and curtain, making it easier to bathe babies with the appropriate baby bath.

We provide various complimentary services, including bed linen, covers, towels for the bathroom and kitchen, and baby equipment (high chair, cot, small bath, potty) upon request. Our property also offers high-speed internet access, and the cost of electricity, heating, and water is included in the rental. Small pets are allowed with prior approval. Laundry facilities are available, including a washing machine, dryer, and outdoor drying area. We provide cleaning tools such as a mop, bucket, vacuum cleaner, iron, and ironing board. Electrical adapters are available upon request, and a hairdryer is provided. If you arrive at Loches station, we offer taxi services to the apartment or car rental garage upon request.

Additional services available upon request include lunch packets, freshly baked bread and croissants from the local bakery in the morning, cleaning services, cleaning products, and taxi services from Tours or Amboise stations to Loches, the apartment, or the car rental garage. We also offer babysitting services for evenings, allowing you to enjoy a romantic dinner or a night at the theater. Italian lessons are also available upon request.

Directions

If you are arriving by car from the motorway, here are the directions:
- If you are coming from the A85, take exit number 11 for Bléré/Amboise/Loches. Then, follow the D31 southbound for 21 km until you reach Loches.
- If you are coming from the A20, take exit number 13 for Tours/Buzançais. Then, follow the D943 northwest for 64 km until you reach Loches.
- If you are coming from the A10, take exit number 25 for Sainte Maure-de-Touraine/Chinon/Loches. Then, follow the D760 eastbound for 32 km until you reach Loches.
Once you arrive in Loches, always follow the signs for "Château". Go through the Poitevine Port and you will be on Mail de la Poterie, the main road of the city. You will see the old houses of the citadel on the left side and the parking area at the base of the walls on the right side. You have arrived!

If you are arriving by air:
- If you are landing in Paris, you can take the TGV train from Charles de Gaulle airport to Tours St. Pierre des Corps. From there, you can connect to other airports. More information can be found on the website www.aeroportsdeparis.fr.
- If you are landing in Tours, you can find flights from various locations such as London Stansted, Manchester, Southampton, Dublin, Porto, Marseille, Figari, and Ajaccio. Once you arrive in Tours, you can take a shuttle bus to the train station and then a train to Loches. More information can be found on the website www.tours.aeroport.fr. Alternatively, you can rent a car.

If you are arriving by train from Tours or Châteauroux, you can find all the necessary information on the website www.trains-horaires.com/gares/loches. Please note that one of the free services available upon request is a transfer from Loches station to the apartment or car rental garage. The station also has TER ticket machines, bus and coach services, and parking. The train lines serving Loches station are Tours and Châteauroux.
